Andrew & Melissa Wedding App — Privacy Policy

Operator: Andrew & Melissa Reinhard ("we", "us").
Governing jurisdiction: Texas, USA.
Effective date: September 4, 2026  ·  Contact: andrewreinhard0@gmail.com

This is a private app for guests of Andrew & Melissa's wedding. It lets guests share photos and videos, comment, and see event details. You use it without creating an account or signing in. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell personal data.

1. Data stored only on your device

The name you optionally enter, your day-of reminders, and any uploads waiting to send while you are offline are stored on your device. You can change or clear your name at any time, and uploads leave your device only when you tap to share them.

2. Data we collect (transmitted off your device)

Photos & videos you choose to uploadShare them in the wedding gallery with other guestsBy display name only, if provided
Captions and category tags you addDescribe and organize your photosBy display name only, if provided

Anonymous device identifier (random ID)Let you manage and delete your own posts without an accountPseudonymous (not your identity)
Push notification token (only if you enable notifications)Send day-of alerts and announcements from the couplePseudonymous

All of the above is used solely for app functionality and is not used for tracking. There is no login, so posts are attributed only to the display name you choose to type (which may be blank). The app does not collect your precise location; the weather feature uses the fixed wedding-venue location only.

3. Who can see your photos

Photos and videos you upload are shared in a gallery visible to other wedding guests who have the app. Media is stored with an unguessable random web address. The couple (as app administrators) can hide or remove any post. "Film Camera" photos are hidden until the reveal time set for the event, then shown to everyone.

4. Deleting your content

You can delete a photo you posted at any time from within the app using the ⋮ menu on your post — this removes the photo, its comments and likes, and the stored file. You can also ask us to delete any content by emailing andrewreinhard0@gmail.com.

5. Service providers (processors)

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the app and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising.

6. Your choices & rights

You can use the app without entering a name, decline push notifications, and delete your own posts at any time. Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email andrewreinhard0@gmail.com.

7. Children

This app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers & security

Data we process may be handled in other countries via our service providers. Device and transport security reduce risk but cannot protect a compromised or unlocked device. We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the data involved.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
